Taste of Pinecraft; Glimpses of Sarasota, Florida's Amish Culture and Kitchens has received recognition in both the United States and in Canada.
In its release year of 2010, Sherry's first book was selected to be placed in the following historical libraries:
~The Amish Historical Library in Alymer, Ontario, Canada, owned and operated by the oldest and largest Old Order Amish publishers in the world.
~Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia placed a copy in the Menno Simons Historical Library.
~The Mennonite historical Library in Goshen, Indiana, at Goshen Mennonite College.
Taste of Pinecraft was voted as the 2nd place winner in the Holmes County, Ohio, Cookbook of the Year contest at the Second Annual Cookbook Extravaganza held July 2, 2011 at Gospel Book Store.
Unbeknownst to many folks outside the Amish and Mennonite population in America, there's a village tucked away in the heart of Sarasota: Pinecraft, Florida, the vacation paradise of the Plain People.
